It is not even two years since the footballer’s death Edson Arantes do Nascimentobetter known as Pelé, however, for his home in Sao Paulo, Brazil, he seems to have spent a lifetime, as he is far from looking like he did in his best times.

A video leaked on social media revealed the poor condition of the property located just a few steps from Pernambuco beach.

The abandonment of the property is more than noticeable, as are the marks left by O Reí’s followers during some of the visits they made to his imposing property after his painful death.

The property, which has around 12 bedrooms, a trophy room, a professional studio, a chapel, a dance club and even a movie theater, was the Brazilian star’s refuge for a long period, although it was not his last home.

It also has tennis, footvolleyball and soccer courts, as well as a swimming pool and sauna, making her home a true paradise in the heart of Sao Paulo.

Today, only memories and ruins of all this remain, as the swimming pool, for example, is completely green, while the jacuzzi and its water slide look destroyed.

The house’s abandonment is also evident from the height of the vegetation, which already covers some exterior corners of the home where Pelé lived in the company of his conquests.

Although the images released are more than compelling, the former soccer player’s family denies that the residence, which is valued at more than $1 million dollars, is abandoned, but the reality seems to be completely different.
