3 Los Angeles Dodgers players are finalists for the All-Star Game

The Los Angeles Dodgers have three players among the finalists to start in the 2024 MLB All-Star Game.

Mookie Betts, Teoscar Hernandez and Shohei Ohtani They are the finalists and those who can vote for in phase 2.

Fans must vote starting this Sunday to decide whether to open the 2024 edition of the All-Star Game in Arlington, Texas.

Mookie Betts will not be able to participate in the same way after the fracture that he suffered from a hit by a ball a couple of weeks ago.

For its part, Shohei Ohtani is on his way to his fourth consecutive All-Star Game, his first representing the National League. The Japanese attended the last three years with the Angels.

Teoscar Hernández is a finalist and has the chance to be in his second All-Star Game. Hernández was in the 2021 edition representing the Toronto Blue Jays.

Freddie Freeman will not start the All-Star Game after losing in the votes to Bryce Harper, vote leader in the National League.

14 Latinos were among the finalists for the All-Star Game

Dominican Juan Soto (Yankees) and Venezuelan Anthony Santander (Orioles) in the outfield.

At catcher is Venezuelan Salvador Pérez (Reals); At second base is his compatriot José Altuve (Astros) and at third base, the Dominican José Ramírez.

Dominican Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Blue Jays) remains in the race at first base and Cuban Yordan Álvarez (Astros) competes in the designated hitter position.

Venezuelan William Contreras (Cerveceros) walks the path to the all-star game at catcher.

The Dominican Ketel Marte (Diamondbacks) and the Creole Luis Arráez (Padres) compete for stardom at second base of the old circuit.

Dominican Manny Machado (Padres) is the Latin bet at third base, while Curacao native Jurickson Profar (Padres), Dominicans Teoscar Hernández (Dodgers) and Fernando Tatis Jr. (Padres), along with Cuban Nick Castellanos, do so in the outfield.

The All-Star Game will be on July 16 at the Texas Rangers’ Globe Life Field.
