This is what the Renault Captur 2024 looks like inside and out

One of the elements that attracts the most attention is the finish Esprit Alpinewhich provides a sporty aesthetic with satin black trim and logos, as well as satin gray front protectors and specific 19-inch wheels.

The 2024 Captur continues the tradition of offering various two-tone paint options, with 14 possible combinations thanks to its six main colours and colour options for the roof and mirrors.

The new openR Link infotainment system, integrated with Google, is one of the best on the market, allowing the use of Google Maps, Google Assistant and other Google Play applications thanks to its base on Android Automotive 12.

It is also compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and supports OTA updates to keep the system always up to date without having to visit the workshop.

This multimedia system It is presented on a 10.4-inch vertical touch screen, accompanied by another 10.25-inch screen for the dashboard, offering various display modes.

An advanced Harman Kardon sound system is also offered with 9 speakers and up to five different sound environments designed by Jean-Michel Jarre.

The Captur’s finishes have been renewed, with new upholstery that includes a gray fabric for the versions Evolution and Technowith yellow details for the latter, and TEP textured upholstery in the Esprit Alpine versions.

Renault has eliminated chrome and leather, replacing the latter with bio-based TEP using recycled and recyclable fabrics, thus reinforcing its commitment to sustainability.

In terms of practicality, the Captur offers 24.7 liters of internal storage space, including a 7-liter glove box, and a spacious and modular rear row thanks to a sliding bench seat adjustable by up to 16 centimeters.

The trunk varies between 484 and 616 liters in the combustion versions and between 348 and 480 liters in the E-Tech hybrid model, expanding to 1,506 and 1,458 liters respectively when the rear row is folded down.

Driving technology and assistance

The Renault Captur 2024 is equipped with up to 28 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) divided into three categories: safety, driving and parking.

Among the most notable are predictive hybrid driving, the Safety Score and Safety Coach system that evaluate driving in terms of safety and efficiency, and Active Driver Assist that combines adaptive cruise control with the lane centering system to offer level 2 autonomous driving.

The 360º camera and other parking aids can also be adjusted using the new My Safety Switch button.

The Renault Captur 2024 offers a variety of engine optionsincluding three gasoline engines, one LPG and a conventional hybrid version.

Petrol options include a 1.0 TCE turbo three-cylinder engine with 90 hp and 160 Nm of torque, with a 6-speed manual gearbox, and two 1.3 TCE mild hybrid turbo four-cylinder options, with 140 hp and 260 Nm of maximum torque (with a 6-speed manual gearbox) or 160 HP and 270 Nm of maximum torque (with an EDC automatic gearbox).
