Summer has barely begun, but Dwayne Johnson “The Rock” He already has his new movie ready, “Red One”, which is Christmas-style. In the film he shares credits with Chris Evans, Lucy Liu, Kiernan Shipka JK Simmons and Bonnie Hunt.
Johnson plays the head of security at the North Pole, who must embark on a mission with a bounty hunter (Evans) to save Santa Claus (Simmons), who has been kidnapped. He trailer has just been released, showing spectacular scenes and curious characters.
At the beginning of this year “The Rock” published a message in which he expressed his excitement about this film, which has been filmed since 2022: ““Red One” It is a new take on Christmas history and mythology, very fresh, fun, with a lot of action. think about “Jumanji” combined with “Miracle On 34th Street”with “Hobbs & Shaw” and with a touch of Harry Potter, embellished with something from my favorite Christmas movie, “It’s a Wonderful Life”“.
The actor turned to his account instagram to share one of the promotional posters, and next to it he wrote the message: “Missing: Santa Claus. Code Name: Red! All points alert everyone around the world: be on the lookout for this man. Last seen at the North Pole.”
“Red One” was directed by Jake Kasdan (who has worked with Dwayne on two films “Jumanji”), and will be released in the United States on November 15. The film is produced by Amazon/MGM Studios. “The Rock” It has two other projects for this year: “Moana 2” and “The Smashing Machine”the latter a film about the life of the fighter Mark Kerr.
