Social Security retirement benefits are the most popular, but they are not the only ones the Social Security Administration (SSA) provides. Disabled workers in the United States have the possibility of receiving two benefits: Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI). When will they be paid in July? Here we leave you the details.

In July, there are 5 payments scheduled for disabled workers who qualify for Social Security. Recipients should be aware of when they might receive this money because, if they qualify for both SSI and SSDI, they could receive two payments in the month.

The first deposit will drop from July 1. This corresponds to Supplemental Security Income (SSI). It must be remembered that these payments are aimed at low-income people 65 years of age or older and adults and children with disabilities or blindness who have limited income and resources.

Just two days later, July 3beneficiaries who have claimed SSDI since before May 1997 they will receive another payment. Basically, this would be the only group of people who could receive SSI and SSDI in the month.

After the beginning of the month, the next three payments will be divided into the second, third and fourth Wednesday of the month. SSDI payments for disabled people who claimed benefits after May 1, 1997, are dispersed based on the days of birth of each beneficiary.

In this sense, July SSDI payments remaining on July 1 and July 3 will be delivered:

  • July 10disabled workers who were born between days 1 and 10.
  • On July 17disabled workers who were born between the 11th and the 20th.
  • July 24disabled workers who were born between the 21st and 31st.

Each beneficiary’s payments also vary. The maximum SSI amount is $943 for single disabled individuals and $1,415 for married individuals.. The average SSI check is worth $697.

While, Maximum SSDI payment is up to $3,822. However, average disability insurance payments are worth $1,537.
