CMB announces that it will not punish Ryan García: “He needs immediate support and help”

Mauricio Sulaimán, president of the World Boxing Council (WBC), announced on his social networks that The organization will not punish Ryan García and offered to help him in these difficult times that Californians are going through.

In a publication on his X account (formerly Twitter), Sulaimán indicated that García He is suffering from the different problems he faces outside the ring and now with the one-year suspension imposed by the New York State Athletic Commission after his positive test for doping before the fight with Devin Haney.

“Many wonder how the WBC will punish Ryan García. We don’t mind punishing him. We want to help Ryan, to the human being, who is suffering, going through difficulties. This is not a boxing issue, Ryan needs immediate support and attention NOW. Champion, we are here for you,” he wrote.

After testing positive for Ostarine in two anti-doping tests and proving that it was caused by two contaminated supplements, Ryan García He was suspended for one year by the New York State Athletic Commission. I will continue training, but I am hurt and I am done with everything and everyone. The sad thing is that I am a great boxer, I entertain and knock people out. I’m sad because I love boxing. I pray for everyone and I hope everyone has a great life,” he announced on his social media.

For all these problems that Ryan García faces, Mauricio Sulaimán wants to help him recover and It seems unempathetic to suspend it and put it aside in this very complicated moment of your life.

“We are going to continue our clean boxing protocol.
