Innovation and power: discover the Audi e-tron GT 2024

The world of high-end electric cars welcomes a new star: the 2024 Audi e-tron GT.

This model, although it was not the German brand’s first electric vehicle, has marked a crucial point in the evolution of battery-powered sports vehicles.

Its close relationship with the Porsche Taycan is evident, since both share the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) base and much of their mechanics. While the Taycan was recently updated, it is now the e-tron GT’s turn to receive substantial improvements.

Visually, the e-tron GT 2024 presents small adjustments to its design, highlighting the new 20 and 21-inch wheels and the bumpers that vary depending on the finish. However, the real innovations lie beneath its elegant bodywork.

The range has expanded to include three options: S e-tron with 564 HP, RS e-tron GT with 856 HP and RS e-tron GT performance with 925 HP. The S e-tron GT accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, while the RS e-tron GT does it in 2.8 seconds and the RS e-tron GT performance in just 2.5 seconds.

All versions have a limited top speed, with the base e-tron reaching 245 km/h and the RS models up to 250 km/h.

One of the most notable changes to the new e-tron GT is the two-dimensional logo on the front and the darkened headlights.

In addition, new colors have been introduced, such as the exclusive Bedford Green for performance and Nimbo Gray available in RS versions.

The RS versions are the ones that present the most new features. An optional blacked-out matte carbon roof and optional elements “camouflage” carbon (a first for Audi) add a distinctive touch.

Inside, the RS has a steering wheel equipped with the “push to pass” button, which provides extra power of up to 95 horsepower for 10 seconds.

The sports seats, characteristic of the RS versions, have a renewed design with an illuminated logo on the backrest. In addition, they offer an optional massage function and can be adjusted to 18 different positions, providing personalized comfort.

Equipped as standard with air suspension and driving modes, the e-tron GT also offers, as a dynamic extra, four-wheel steering, elevating the driving experience to new levels.
