Fox Sports network analyst Eduardo de la Torre is in very poor health after suffering a stroke this Thursday which caused him to be urgently hospitalized in a hospital in CDMX, where doctors hope that he responds to medical treatment to recover little by little.

The news was made known from a message spread by TUDN network commentator Paco González, who asked for prayers and good vibes for the former Chivas player,

Friends, prayers and good vibes for the health and speedy recovery of my dear friend Eduardo Yayo de la Torre 🙏🏻

De la Torre, who is the cousin of former Mexico National Team coach José Manuel de la Torre and former Chivas and Mexico National Team player and manager, Néstor de la Torre also served as sports director of Cruz Azul under the mandate of Guillermo Álvarez Cuevas.

Yayo, as he was known in the Mexican soccer community, managed to win the title as a player with Chivas in the 1986-87 season. under the leadership of Alberto Guerra, in a team that gave a lot of trouble to América, its greatest adversary in the history of Mexican soccer.

According to journalistic versions, De la Torre was urgently admitted to a CDMX hospital, where was diagnosed with transient cerebral ischemia with the aim that medical support could minimize the ravages of this brain damage.

The former Chivas player was currently part of the analyst panel of the Fox Sports network, where he always sought to impose his point of view from the tactical knowledge that his career as a coach gave him. and above all the internal management of a professional team, which from the outside seems simple, but has to have that balance to be able to manage a team with so much struggle of vanities.

De la Torre always defended his point of view based on those secrets that gave him the ability to handle the role of player, coach and then leader, trying It was always his point of view to silence judgments without bases and foundations that contributed nothing to football.

So medical care is expected allow Eduardo de la Torre to overcome this complicated health situation in which not long ago the legend of Chivas, Benjamín Galindo, was also affected.
