Hispanic man sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl in broad daylight in a New York park

Authorities reported that A man, who was described as being of Hispanic origin, sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl in a New York City public park in broad daylight.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) indicated in a statement posted on Facebook that a girl and her friend, also 13 years old, were in Kissena Park in Queens, New York, on Thursday, June 13 at 3:30 a.m. p.m

Authorities said the young teens were approached by a Hispanic man, who showed them a knife and demanded they follow him into the woods.

In a secluded area of ​​the park, the suspect took the teens’ cell phones before tying their wrists with a shoelace.

Police noted that after the children were tied up, the suspect forcibly sexually assaulted the girl.

After raping the young woman, the suspect disappeared from the park.

The teens were able to free themselves and run to the school across the street, and then called 911.

They were taken to a hospital in stable condition.

The NYPD offered a reward of up to $10,000 for information about the rape incident.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, around 5′ 5″ in his 20s with curly hair, last seen wearing red sneakers and carrying a green backpack.

He appeared to have braces on his teeth and had a tattoo of a wild boar or bull with red eyes on his chest.
