Celine Dion declares herself a big fan of Billie Eilish: “I have a lot of respect for her”

It is not very common for Celine Dion commented on the singers who currently occupy the charts, but now she gave her opinion on one who has something special for her, and whose musical style is very different from the one she handles.

In a recent interview for BBC The Canadian singer mentioned that she loves Billie Eilish’s music: “I love their songs. And I really love his talent. I love her videos and the way she has found her place, for all that I have a lot of respect for her.”

Celine is currently promoting the documentary “Yo soy”directed by Irene Taylor and in which, in addition to narrating his successful career in music, it is shown how he has had to face the disease known as Rigid Person Syndrome, which he was diagnosed with in 2022. The premiere will be on June 25 on the Amazon Prime Video platform.

Over the course of two years, Dion has had to take several medications and undergo many physical therapies. The disease will not disappear, but the muscle spasms it causes are not as strong now, so His return to the stage is getting closer and closer. She is now working on pre-production for a series of shows in Las Vegas.

“My voice will be rebuilt,” he says. “I mean, it already started a while ago. We have been working very hard to put on this show, because I’m back. I’ll be on stage. I don’t know exactly when, but trust me, I’ll shout it out loud. I can not wait”. The support of her followers has been essential in her discipline for therapies and maintaining her goal of singing again: “(Before), on all my free days I wanted to be ready for the next show. I traveled the world and didn’t see much. But as a performer and singer, I have received a lot of love from fans.”
