With an emotional video on their social networks, Vinotinto confirmed the group among those that stand out Salomon Rondona figure of Pachuca in the Liga MX that became champion of the Concachampions, as well as Tomás Rincón who plays in Brazilian soccer with Santos in the Second Division.

The national coach, the Argentine Fernando “Bocha” Batista, made his choice, leaving out four players who had been working with the group for several days in Tampa. The most striking of those discarded was Samuel Sosa, who had been a regular in the South American qualifiers.

This was the presentation of the official call of the Venezuelan National Team for the Copa América United States where they will be facing Ecuador, Mexico and Jamaica.

“Choosing the list of 26 players is the most difficult part because you have to tell four guys that they are not going to be in the tournament, but that does not mean that they are outside the orbit of Vinotinto”“Bocha” Batista commented in an interview with the Venezuelan radio program Conexión Goleadora.

In addition to Samuel Sosa, midfielder for Mexican soccer team Querétaro, the experienced goalkeeper Alain Baroja, winger Jhon Murillo (who also plays in Liga MX with Atlas) and defender Carlos Vivas were also left out.

Among those who are there, the young talent of Kervin Andrade stands out, a player from Fortaleza in Brazil who promises to dazzle with his offensive skills accompanied by the already established Yeferson Soteldo, a figure from Gremio de Porto Alegre and one of the great Venezuelan figures for the Cup.
