Jonathan Majors will receive an award for his perseverance in Hollywood after assault accusations

After being found guilty of assaulting and harassing his ex-girlfriend, Jonathan Majors will be recognized for his perseverance in Hollywood. The 34-year-old actor will receive the perseverance award at the fourth annual Hollywood Unlocked Impact Awards.

In accordance with The Hollywood Reporter, The actor will receive the award for having demonstrated his ability to overcome the adversities that will arise in his career.

Other personalities who have received the award for perseverance in Hollywood are Floyd Mayweather, Lizzo, Whoopi Goldberg, among many others.

News of Majors’ award comes two months after his sentence was announced after being found guilty of assaulting and harassing his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.

In April, a judge ruled that the actor must attend a batterer’s intervention program for 52 weeks and continue with your mental health therapy sessions.

Judge Michael Gaffey also issued a permanent order of protection against any contact with Jabbari. Additionally, Majors cannot solicit or possess weapons. If the actor violates the terms of the sentence he could face one year in prison.

In December, Jonathan Majors was found guilty of assaulting and harassing his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.

Months before, In March, police reported responding to an emergency call in Manhattan for an alleged domestic dispute between Majors and Jabbari. when they were still a couple.

Majors had apparently received a text message and Jabbari had tried to take her phone, believing she was talking to another woman, local media reported at the time.

Other accusations

The actor, who was found guilty of assaulting and harassing his ex-girlfriend in Decemberwas accused of physical and emotional abuse by two other women.

According to a report published by the New York Times, Two women claim to have suffered abuse at the hands of Jonathan Majors.

The women, identified as Emma Duncan and Maura Hooper, accuse the actor of physical and emotional abuse during the time they dated the actor: between 2013 and 2019.

Duncan alleges that the actor physically and emotionally abused her, while Hooper alleges only emotional abuse.. They both describe Majors as a “controlling and threatening” person who isolated them from their friends and their careers.

The actor’s lawyer responded and assured that both of the actor’s relationships were “toxic.”so he indicated that he may have said “hurtful things.”
