Anahí responds to RBD and “will hire her own audit” after controversy over tour figures

Anahí appeared to clarify some aspects regarding RBD’s ‘Soy Rebelde Tour’ and the accusations related to the mismanagement of funds. The Mexican star was dismayed and assured that she is willing to collaborate with the process, and that she will request an audit from an external company.

“Like everyone, I also want clarity. I also want things to be put in order for everyone, for everything to be clarified. “I am not defending anyone and I am not accusing anyone because we still do not have the results of the audits,” the artist said in a meeting with the media.

The artist referred to the process that Guillermo Rosas, the group’s former manager, is facing, who is accused of fraud for everything related to the tour.

“An audit was carried out, where although there were irregularities, another one is being carried out. And I, personally, also want to share with you that I am in talks with a very prestigious international firm, because I also want to do a more external audit, because I also want clarity. “We all want the same thing,” confessed the artist.

Anahí talks about congratulating Guillermo Rosas

It is the first time that Anahí offers statements regarding the issue; in the past she was accused of congratulating Rosas on her birthday and the press asked her about this situation.

When asked, she responded that she lost a friendship of 18 years, since Rosas was one of her best friends.

“When Guillermo Rosas stopped being part of the RBD tour, not only did a professional issue break there, he was one of my best friends for 18 years. A long-standing friendship is broken, a long-standing trust is broken, and it was very painful for me, really very painful,” he said.

The Mexican said that since Rosas broke off relations with RBD, they have not seen each other. “We never saw each other again and I had to heal. And of course I thought about making it private (referring to the congratulations), but then I said ‘I have nothing to hide’, so it was not an issue to want to harm someone.”he expressed.

Through its social networks, the ‘Hoy’ program published that Anahí’s full interview will be made public on Monday, June 17.

What is Anahí accused of?

The RBD star was also accused of “embezzlement” and the Mexican media speculated that it was to help – financially – her husband, Manuel Velasco, in his political campaign.

Regarding this, his partner Christian Chávez said in ‘Despierta América’: “The legal problems or what is being worked on legally is not something that has to be litigated in the media, the truth is I know that it is delicate, but for this reason everything That, better, the legal thing that people take care of the legal thing.”

Chávez reiterated that they all feel like brothers and asked the press not to speculate, in addition to respecting Anahí’s integrity.

For her part, Maite Perroni did the same and defended Anahí from the accusations against her.
