Donald Trump will kick off the week with a virtual interview on Monday with a New York City parole officer from his home in Mar-a-Lago, with his attorney Todd Blanche at his side after he was found guilty of all charges in the hush money trial.

The interview takes place just days before the sentence is announced after being convicted last month of the 34 serious crimes of falsifying business records in the historic case. The court requires the probation interview as part of the former president’s pre-sentence report.

Trump’s defense team is scheduled to present its sentencing recommendation on June 13.

A successful appeal to the higher courts by Trump’s legal team could further delay the sentencing decision.

Former US President Donald Trump was found guilty this Thursday of the 34 charges he faced in a historic trial in New York for hiding a payment in exchange for silence from former porn star Stormy Daniels.

The ruling made Trump the first former US president in history to be convicted in a criminal trial.

The sentence will be announced on July 11, as established by the court, where the former president could face a prison sentence of between one year and four months, and four years for each charge.

At the pre-sentencing hearing, the defendant is typically asked about his or her conviction and other basic information about his or her background, such as his or her employment and criminal history.

It is worth mentioning that Trump not obligated to help with pre-sentencing investigationbut a lack of cooperation could harm you.

The meeting is part of the report that the probation department will present to the judge overseeing the case to help decide Trump’s sentence, which will be announced in Manhattan Criminal Court in almost a month.

Trump is accused of falsifying commercial invoices to conceal payment to Stormy Daniels, a former porn actress with whom he had a sexual relationship, to protect his presidential run in 2016.
