A 3.5 magnitude earthquake shook the morning of this Sunday, June 2, in south Pasadena and shook parts of Southern California, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported.
According to reports, The earthquake was recorded at 9:56 amwith an epicenter 2.3 miles south southwest of Pasadena, about 2.4 miles west southwest of Alhambra and about 3 miles west northwest of Monterey Park.
The USGS said the earthquake It occurred at a depth of almost seven miles.

Seismologist Dr. Lucy Jones, who was in south Pasadena at the time the earthquake hit, said on social media that the shaking was “sharp and brief.”
