Elizabeth Álvarez joined the list of celebrities who have been criticized for their physical appearance, along with Lucerito Mijares. The actress did not remain silent and faced negative opinions about her weight.
In an interview on the ‘Hoy’ program, Álvarez was asked what she had to say about the criticism about her physique and her supposed pregnancy, the famous woman – without hesitation – responded: “Yes, yes I am pregnant, guys. The truth is, I’m six months pregnant.”
The presenters of ‘Hoy’ looked surprised and, quickly, Álvarez changed his version and stated:
“I don’t know why we are focusing on criticizing ourselves so much and giving so much opinion about our bodies, it seems like a terrible lack of respect to me.”
Does Álvarez feel satisfied with her appearance?
Regarding the negative comments, the actress stated that they do not affect her daily life and that she feels satisfied with the person she is.
“I am very happy at my age, I am 46 years old, I am very happy with who I am, with what I have, with how I am.”
In the interview he also addressed the possibility of a new pregnancy and she responded no.
“Me with my children, the truth is that I am so happy and satisfied and content that asking for something more from life would be an insult, the truth is that it is not.”

Álvarez, along with Jorge Salinas, share two children who are twins: Máxima and León, eight years old.
Salinas, for his part, has other children from a previous relationship: Valentina, Jorge, Santiago and Gabriella.
Álvarez joins other Mexican stars who have faced criticism, as well as Lucerito Mijares. In a recent interview, she commented that the criticism about his body did not matter to him and that he does not understand the motivation of the presenters to talk about another person’s physique.
“At the time I was in the shower it was like: how strange, I didn’t care… let’s see, I didn’t care, but it was like how strange if I haven’t gotten involved with them, I don’t know them. Chance and if she had given him a bad vibe, but it was like, ah, we’re going to mess with that girl because we want to,” he commented.
Mijares was criticized by Eduardo Videgaray and Sofía Rivera Torres, hosts of Imagen TV, both of whom claimed that the young woman’s appearance was similar to that of a man and that she had not taken advantage of her mother’s beauty.
