Maripily Rivera spoke openly about the amount she earned during her time on ‘La Casa de los Famosos 4’. Rivera took first place in the competition, which lasted four months, and she confessed “I am one of the most expensive,” referring to the sum of money she generated per week on the reality show.
While ‘La Casa de los Famosos 4’ was broadcast, Celebrities were presumed to earn between $5,000 and $10,000 a week.. However, in an interview with Molusco TV, a famous Puerto Rican podcast, Maripily Rivera confessed that his sum was much greater.
Jorge Pabón, host of the program, first asked him: “Between $7 thousand to $12 thousand dollars per week?” to which Rivera responded no. Afterwards, Pabón raised the sum and exclaimed “15 thousand dollars?”, and she nodded and said “Over there.”
“Well-earned reality”
Rivera reported that she asked for a substantial sum, since for four months she would pause her career, her businesses and her presentations. The businesswoman has a clothing line that has been around for 21 years and has become one of the most successful in Puerto Rico.
After her revelation, the host – jokingly – asked for a calculator to add up the amount of money that the actress could have earned. “Maripily leaves ‘La Casa de los Famosos’ with more than $450,000 dollars.”
Pabón told the Puerto Rican woman that “There were ads with balls, ratings with balls, those people make a lot of money and you made a lot of money”.
Laughing, Rivera stated that she entered the reality show with the purpose of letting people know her. She will delve into her personality and how real she is.
“I defended myself quite well, I also had my strategies, but always being real, because in 24/7 they saw that I never had to hide behind anyone”.
Since her arrival on the reality show, Rivera was characterized by “being frontal,” as she said on more than one occasion, and she was the celebrity who contributed the most content to the mansion.
In the first instance, he played with the Earth team and ended up on the same team. In the end, she emerged victorious and took home the $200,000 dollars. In second place was Rodrigo Romeh and in third, Lupillo Rivera.
