One month before Alec Baldwin’s trial, a New Mexico judge rejected the actor’s legal team’s request to dismiss the involuntary manslaughter charge for the incident on the set of rust which cost cinematographer Halyna Hutchins her life.
On Friday, Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer confirmed the charge of involuntary manslaughter against the 66-year-old actoraccording to the Associated Press.
“We look forward to our day in court,” said the actor’s lawyers, Luke Nikas and Alex Spiro, when asked by Entertainment Weekly about the judge’s decision.
