“Preliminarily we have five people dead and 50 with different types of injuries, some serious, others medium, we are still waiting for official data, we are waiting for the Prosecutor’s Office to do its part,” García told media at the scene of the accident, caused by strong winds.

“The members of my team who were injured are already being treated at the hospital. I am heading again to the scene of the events to accompany the victims,” Álvarez Máynez wrote on the X social network.

Previously, the governor of Nuevo León, Samuel García, who emerged from MC, regretted the accident in a message on social networks and spoke about the weather conditions for Monterrey in the coming hours.

“Good evening, this is a very important message. I ask you to please take shelter, intense rains are coming in the next few hours. There was an event 15 minutes ago, unfortunately an accident occurred that left several people injured during a campaign closing in San Pedro Garza García,” the governor said in a message on the same social network.
