Rayados de Monterrey It is one of the most expensive teams in Mexican soccer and in all of Concacaf. The Gang made a strong investment so that Fernando Ortiz will lead the club to championships. But the titles did not arrive.
The Mexican team was one step away from fighting for a cup this season. In the Clausura 2024 they were eliminated by Cruz Azul. The Machine, with less money invested, will play the “beautiful” game in Mexican soccer.

Fernando Ortíz’s team is one of the most valuable clubs in all of Concacaf. According to information from the specialized transfer portal, Transfermarkt, The Rayados de Monterrey squad is valued at $102.8 million dollars.
With Fernando Ortíz’s project, the leadership of Rayados de Monterrey made a strong investment to fulfill his “whims.” The club spent more than $30 million dollars to set up the “Tano” club.
Among the hires are the following players: $3.5 million dollars per Jorge gonzalez, $3.7 million dollars per “Tecatito” Corona$7 million dollars per Gerardo Arteaga, $7.5 million dollars for Brandon Vazquez and $10 million dollars for Sergio Canales.
With a squad like this, to which these players were progressively added, Fernando Ortíz had 32 wins, 10 draws and 13 losses. The semifinals were the great obstacle for “Tano” this season.
