Javier Aguirre He is a respected coach in Aztec football and also in Spanish football. “Vasco” has achieved many successes on the bench, but now he would seek to transfer them to a more institutional facet. The Mexican Football Federation would benefit.
Much has been said about the continuity of Javier Aguirre in Mallorca. The Mexican strategist is fighting to remain with the Spanish team. The club intends to renew it, but “Vasco” is tempted by an offer that would improve football in its country.
The possibility of “Vasco” reaching the FMF was reported by the newspaper Récord. On the portal they explain that “everything indicates that he could join the Mexican Soccer Federation together with Juan Carlos ‘La Bomba’ Rodríguez.”
The future is with Javier Aguirre
Reports indicate that Javier Aguirre’s position would not be momentary. “Vasco” has contributed a lot to Aztec football from the bench, but now it would strengthen the leadership level.
The information presented by journalist Alberto Bernard indicates that the federal entity plans to rely on the knowledge of “Vasco” during several processes. Everything would begin with the 2026 World Cup and end in 2034.
“His relationship with ‘Bomb’ is undeniable, they are very close. The man who advised him the most in all the sporting details that the Federation is experiencing today is him. Javier Aguirre is interested in leaving the bench and dedicating himself to organizing and advising. He believes that it is time to take the long pants, because they are offering him to be the sports man for the 2026 and 2030 World Cup, and lay the foundations for 2034”explains the report.
This would be the third time that Javier Aguirre plays roles in the Mexican team. “Vasco” has already led the El Tri bench in two processes, one in 2001 and the other in 2009. Aguirre has coached Mexico for more than 50 games, but now he would leave the strategy in favor of the development of Aztec football.
