Friends of Bob Menéndez's wife rule out that she is the one who agreed to bribes in exchange for favors

The politician with Cuban roots and his wife Nadine are accused of receiving bribes in exchange for the Democrat, in his role as former president of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, using his influence. to benefit three businessmen and for favoring the Egyptian government in arms transactions.

Faced with the possibility that a ruling against him could put an end to his political career, the lawyers defending him in his trial, under his orders, are doing everything possible to hold Nadiene Arslanian responsible for all crimes, of whom it is said faces a battle against stage three breast cancer.

In this regard, some friends close to the 57-year-old woman told the newspaper New York Post that, without underestimating her ability to reason, Nadine is far from being the mastermind of such a gruesome operation.

“She is not a mastermind. She’s the type who wants to be with her man 24/7, and the type who believes in fairy tales. She is totally naive: the type of person who never understands a joke,” said a woman who, for security reasons, prefers to remain anonymous.

For his part, Pat Dori acknowledged feeling compelled to speak after the delicate health of Nadine Arslanian, whom he claims to have known for years.

“She is not the character they portray. She is not a Bond villain, but a housewife trying to make it big. She is incapable of planning something like this. She was raised to obey her husband, yes, but she is not a mastermind“, he indicated.

Contrary to what is mentioned, Dori assures that the second wife of Democrat Menéndez does not have access to her husband’s money and will possibly end up losing the trial that awaits her.

“She is in dire financial straits and her friends feel like she is being hit from every possible angle. I am afraid that she will not be able to survive this,” she emphasized.
