Sophie Turner spoke about her separation from Joe Jonas: “They were the worst days of my life”

After her high-profile separation from Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner spoke about how she lived the days after the breakupin which many rumors arose about her parenting ability and the uncertainty surrounding the custody of her daughters.

In an interview with British Vogue, The British actress described the period immediately following the announcement of their separation as “the worst days” of her life.

“They were the worst days of my life,” Turner said. “I remember they booked me to be on set for another two weeks, so I couldn’t leave. My daughters were in the United States and I couldn’t reach them because I had to finish (the series) Joan. And all these articles started coming out”

After Joe, to whom she was married for four years, confirmed the news of the divorce, media pressure intensifiedso at some moments he felt like he couldn’t handle the situation.

“I was calling my lawyer saying, ‘I can’t handle this. I just can not’. I always lacked the strength to defend myself,” said the actress, who assured that her daughters Willa and Delphine were the ones who gave her the strength to face the situation.

Sophie Turner did not delve into some aspects of the divorce because the process is still ongoing, so she cannot talk about it. However, he assured that his priority has always been the well-being of her daughters.

“My dream is to have a great Christmas where my daughters can have their father there, Joe’s entire family, their grandparents. I don’t care about politics, I just want the girls to feel loved and that everyone is there for them,” she said.

In September last year, Joe Jonas filed to dissolve his marriage to Sophie Turner in Miami, Florida, alleging irreconcilable differences.
