Luka Modric does not reveal his future with Real Madrid: “It is time to celebrate; we'll see what happens”

Croatian Luka Modric, Real Madrid midfielder whose contract expires on June 30, He avoided talking about his future during the celebration of the 36th League title because he considered that “it is time to celebrate with the people” and with his “colleagues.”

“I want to thank you for all the love you show me every day. I love them also. Well let’s see. It’s time to celebrate with the people and my colleagues. We’ll see what happens,” he told the media after concluding the League title celebration.

“This is not the time to talk about that. I want to finish the season well, I hope to come here again on June 2 (after the Champions League final) and in the end we will see what happens,” he added.

Luka Modric who praised the achievement of the League title. “It is always a tremendous joy to come here with the Madridistas and enjoy a league which has not been easy because we have had many problems. “We have shown unity, quality, character and everything that is necessary to win the league,” he noted.

Federico Valverde wants to celebrate again, but with the Champions League

The Uruguayan Fede Valverde assured that they are experiencing “a very special day” in celebrating the 36th League title. At the same time, he hopes that they can “live it again” in a few days, after the Champions League final on June 1 against Borussia Dortmund.

“Thank the people who have come. It is a very special day for everyone to live another moment like this and I hope we can live it in a few days,” he said on Realmadrid TV.

“It is a League that has a lot of merit. It shows what a great team we are and that we all pull for the same side with the same mentality. With teammates who have not had many minutes we have needed them and that counts,” he noted.
