The girlfriend of the Australian surfer murdered in Mexico shared the last messages he sent her

Girlfriend of murdered Australian surfer Callum Robinson He took to social media to express his pain.

Days after Callum, his brother Jake Robinson and your friend Carter Rhoad were found dead in Baja California, Mexico, Emily Horwath She reflected on their life together and revealed what he told her in his final message.

“Happy Tuesday. Good morning. It’s 11:11 and I’m just thinking about you. Just wanted to send you a quick message and say hello darling,” Callum said in a voicemail, which was posted by Emily on her Instagram Stories alongside a photo of him holding a cup of coffee on the beach.

“I hope you’re having a great start to your day.. I send you a big smile. Cheers, baby. “I miss you,” added the Australian surfer.

Alongside the voicemail shared on social media, Horwath wrote: “That’s exactly what you were. “Positivity and smiles.”

In addition, the young woman posted photos and videos of her and Callum together, including a picture of him getting a pedicure.

He shared his life as a couple

“Cal always got pedicures with me and we put smiley faces on his big toe,” she recalled. “Even his toes were happy.”

She also shared snaps of Callum hanging from a tree by the beach and partying with her and her friends, as well as pictures of the two on holiday together.

“For holidays or birthdays, Cal and I always bought each other experiences that we could share together,” she explained. “For Christmas she gave me a climbing bridge and a zip line. Knowing my fear of heights, He always tried to get me out of my comfort zone to enjoy things I would never do on my own.“he added.

Emily said they did all this while being able to laugh constantly throughout life and not take it so seriously. “This man changed my life in a way I can’t even put into words… I still don’t understand a world without him and his energy in it. I feel very grateful to have loved him.”

Finally, he shared a reflection to remember how ephemeral life is. “Tell your people you love them. Live life to the fullest every day. Be kind to others. Laugh uncontrollably. Don’t let the little things bother you. You lead with positivity and live like Cal“.

The bodies of Callum, Jake and Carter, along with the body of a fourth unidentified person, were found with gunshot wounds to the head inside a deep pit not far from their camp south of Ensenada.

Baja California prosecutors said at a press conference that same day that the motive for the murders was the theft of a truck. Three days later, they announced that a suspect had been formally charged with enforced disappearance in connection with the men’s deaths.
