Trevor Bauer launched a gem of a pitch this Saturday with the Red Devils of Mexico and assured that he will stay with the team for another month.

“One more month and we’ll see. I feel good, with good rhythm. Some launches, but it’s a matter of adjusting. Overall very good”Bauer said at the end of the game against Guerreros de Oaxaca.

Bauer pitched six innings, allowing four hits, two runs, two walks, nine strikeouts and posted a 1.96 ERA.

Jorge del Valle, president of Diablos Rojos de México, stated that he hopes to sit down to talk with Bauer in a possible renewal and that he liked the country, something that made him stay with the Devils.

“The goal is to make everything sequence. Something Trevor told us is that he is surprised and let’s think about May, two at home, two on tour and then we sat down. I hope he stays until the Serie del Rey,” said Del Valle.

These are the following departures of Trevor Bauer with the Red Devils of Mexico:

Friday, May 10 in Yucatán vs Leones

Wednesday, May 15 in Mexico City vs Puebla

Tuesday, May 21 in Leon vs Bravos

Sunday June 1st in Mexico City vs Dorados

Trevor Bauer is still looking for an opportunity to return to the Major Leagues following his sexual assault case, which the pitcher proved not guilty in court.

As of now, Bauer is a free agent and could sign with any MLB organization.

San Diego Padres beat Arizona Diamondbacks

San Diego made a fool of Arizona for the second night in a row, although this Saturday was much worse, and he again came close to the shutout with a spectacular Michael King in his six at-bats on the mound, giving up only six hits without production.

The big news was Arráez, recently arrived from Miami, and the Venezuelan did not disappoint, becoming the first debutant in the history of the Padres who completes four hits in his first game.

Curaçao native Jurickson Profar and Korean Ha-Seong Kim hit home runs in the seventh to make it 11-0. Dominicans Manny Machado and Dominican Luis Campusano were also protagonists at bat.

Arizona saved the shutout in its last at-bat with a single by Venezuelan Gabriel Moreno.
