One of the largest retail chains in the United States, Walmart announced the launch of its new gourmet food store at more affordable prices called Bettergoodswhich was designed to attract more young customers.

Through a statement, Scott Morris, senior vice president of private brands, food and consumables at Walmart, highlighted that “today’s customers expect more from the private brands they buy, They want affordable, quality products to improve their overall eating experience.”, said.

Until now, the new brand will have about 300 productswhich range from frozen foods, dairy products, snacks, drinks, pastas, soups, coffee and chocolate, among others, which are already available on the shelves of the retail chain and They will be priced between $2 and $15 dollars.

Walmart’s new launch comes at a time when Customers pressured by high inflation and high prices are replacing premium brands with own brands which tend to cost much less, without neglecting the quality of the products.

  • Non-dairy frozen desserts with oat milk: $3.44.
  • Seasonings for carnitas, tacos or tingas: less than $2 dollars.
  • Plant-based mozzarella: less than $4.
