Lolita Cortes has always distinguished herself by being very honest about her opinion of other celebrities, and now was questioned about the appearance of the influencer Wendy Guevara at one of Madonna’s concerts in Mexico.

In an interview published on the channel Youtube of Eden Dorantes The actress and singer commented that she does not know Wendy’s career: “But what evolution and what growth? No, let’s see, you have to know how to differentiate. There are celebrities and there are artists. Celebrity doesn’t need to be talented, they are famous per se; the artist does not need to be famous. He communicates, creates, studies, presents himself, has discipline and sometimes we live on 2 pesos. The stage feeds us.”

A reporter asked Cortés if he then considers Guevara a celebrity: “Of course. But I don’t even know what he does. I mean, I’ve never seen it. I only saw the “Lost Lost Lost” thing. That’s all. So sorry, I can’t find…I have nothing against her. I don’t know her, and Let’s see, if Wendy Guevara had gone on stage in the 80s with Madonna, ahh, but now? Ahh.”

In the interview, Lolita also said that she is in good health (she suffered from breast cancer and is now in remission) and confirmed her participation in the next season of the television show. “The academy”, in which new musical talents are sought: “Yes, it can now be confirmed. It is a project that has given me a lot, and catapulted my career. Suddenly I’m very anxious about this part of: ‘Who’s going to be the director?’ Because we want talent. (It will start) at the end of July, and I think it ends in October.”
