In accordance with deadline, The former producer’s lawyer, Arthur Aidala, reported that Weinstein is undergoing a series of medical tests.without giving details of the health condition that took him to the hospital.
“It seems like he needs a lot of help. He has many problems. They are doing all kinds of tests on him. “His health is a disaster,” the lawyer reported to the American press this Saturday.
Apparently, Weinstein was hospitalized Friday at Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan. after he returned to New York following an appeals court ruling that overturned his 2020 rape conviction.
“We are grateful for the care and discretion of the New York Department of Corrections as they have been treating Harvey Weinstein’s medical issues to the best of their ability,” Craig Rothfeld, corrections counselor and Weinstein Department of Corrections liaison, told deadline.
