“She's not pretty and she doesn't know how to act,” a producer criticizes Sydney Sweeney

Sydney Sweeney was the target of negative comments about his appearance and the way he acts. Recently, the actress was harshly criticized by producer Carol Baum, who said that she was not pretty and did not know how to act.

According to Daily Mail, Baum made the comments about Sweeney in a conversation with New York Times film critic Janet Maslin. during an event last week at the Jacob Burns Center in Pleasantville, New York.

“There is an actress that everyone loves now: Sydney Sweeney. I don’t understand. “I was watching the Sydney Sweeney movie on the plane because I wanted to see it,” said the producer, referring to Anyone but You.

“I wanted to know who she is and why everyone is talking about her. I saw this unwatchable movie; I feel sorry for the people who love this… romantic comedy where they hate each other,” she added.

Baum said he told his students Sydney Sweeney was not pretty or talented.. “I told my class: ‘Explain this girl to me. She’s not pretty, she can’t act. ‘Why is she so attractive?’ “No one had an answer,” she indicated.

Baum’s comments reached Sweeney, who responded to the criticism of the producer. “How sad that a woman in a position to share her knowledge and experience would decide to attack another woman,” a representative for Sweeney told Entertainment Weekly.

“If that’s what you’ve learned over your decades in the industry and you think it’s appropriate to teach it to your students, it’s embarrassing. “Unfairly disparaging a fellow producer says a lot about Ms. Baum’s character,” lamented the actress.

Sydney Sweeney will not star alongside Johnny Depp

Recently, Sydney Sweeney denied rumors that she would work with Johnny Depp on a new project.

In accordance with Entertainment Weekly, The rumors began because critic Jeff Sneider wrote in his newsletter that Sweeney and Depp would act together in the film Day Drinker by Marc Webb.

Last week, after the rumors, the actress seems to have reacted to the comments about his alleged participation in a project with Depp.

“Anyway, I woke up to rumors, go see @ImmaculateMovie in theaters this weekend!” he wrote on his X account, where he invited people to see his new horror movie.
