Los Angeles Police Search for Group of Thieves; suspected to be LAUSD students

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) requested the support of the community to identify a group of thieves responsible for a series of “sudden robberies” against retail stores and who are suspected may be students of the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD).

Authorities reported that the wave of robberies It began on March 3 and has been committed against stores in the Boyle Heights and South Los Angeles area by a group made up of between 10 and 20 suspects, described as adolescent and adult men between 5 and 6 feet tall, whose ages would be between 15 and 25 years old.

In most flash mob robberies, large groups of thieves rush into stores, overwhelming store employees and security guards. while taking clothing and other types of items as possible before fleeing.
