As the days go by towards the voting on June 2 in Mexico, electoral violence has increased, as more and more candidates have suffered attacks, threats and kidnappings.
One of the most recent cases is that of Luis García Corralescandidate of the Sinaloense Party (PAS) for councilor of Culiacán, who disappeared last Saturday along with Juan Francisco Cerón Beltrána member of the same party.
After an intense search and the demand of the population for both people to appear alive, finally the governor of Sinaloa, Rubén Rocha confirmed that both García Corrales and Cerón Beltrán were found.
