Charles Harder, lawyer for Bernie Moreno, favorite in Ohio to run for the Senate representing the Republican Party, came to his defense after the politician was pointed out for allegedly having been discovered trying to establish gay meetings through an adult site.

Moreno is a rich businessman who is running for the second time for one of the Ohio Senate seats and has invested at least $3 million from his own pocket to campaign.

In early 2022, the millionaire born in Bogotá, Colombia, declined in favor of fellow Republican JD Vancewho finally triumphed in the elections.

However, facing the Republican primaries to be held in Ohio on March 19, Bernie Moreno could surpass two other candidates on the ballot and the trend shows that probably even the current Democratic senator Sherrod Brown, since he has the support of Donald Trump.

The controversial thing about his case is that An investigation carried out by The Associated Press (AP) news agency detected a profile of the Republican millionaire on Adult Friend Finder (AFF), an app for casual encounters where she was allegedly looking for “men for one-on-one sex.”

In this regard, lawyer Charles Harder issued a statement to the newspaper The Hillthrough which He blamed Dan Ricci, a former intern, for what he called a prank carried out in 2008.

“16 years ago, a Moreno intern created an AFF account, which he quickly abandoned that same day. We have provided the AP with a copy of a signed letter from that intern, admitting this, as well as another signed letter from a former vice president of Mr. Moreno’s company, confirming this intern’s employment at the time the account in question was created. .

The email address in question was not Bernie’s personal email address, but rather an email address that appeared on company websites and documentation and was managed by staff. Several people had access to it, including this intern.

Bernie Moreno had nothing to do with the AFF account. According to the metadata, the AFF account was not even used- No communications or contacts were sent to or from other AFF accounts, and no photos or content were uploaded. The AFF account has existed for 16 years,” the document states.

According to Bernie Moreno’s campaign finance records, there is a donation of $6,599 dollars from Dan Ricci, who has not yet made any comments regarding the alleged prank he played on the millionaire in the past. .
