Witnesses point out that the woman was wearing headphones, so she did not hear the train moving forward.According to the Telediario media, the authorities are investigating that line, as well as whether the railway operator sounded the horn upon arriving at the cruise ship where the accident occurred.

According to the ABC media, another line that is being investigated is whether the deceased victim had a hearing problem that prevented him from hearing the passing of the train.

After the woman was unknown for several hours, she finally identified herself as Ana María, 35 years old, who had arrived from Chiapasaccording to the MVS media.

Regarding the driver of the train, Edgar Alejandro, from the Kansas City railway company, it was reported that he was interviewed by the authorities to clarify the facts.
