The Republican National Committee (RNC), co-chaired by Lara Trump, would be pushing much of the agenda of her father-in-law, former President Donald Trump, which contemplates cuts in various areas, including community centers aimed at Hispanics.

Said service centers for Hispanic communities, to attract their vote, would now not be a priority, according to the report. Daily Beastwhich titled an article: “Making the RNC White Again.”

“The program in question is a 2022 midterm election initiative in which RNC field staff engaged voters through meetings and events held at community centers in areas with large minority populations, more specifically Latino communities,” the report states.

He adds that the RNC attributes the closures to budgetary issues, but would return with at least 40 new centers in key states, such as Las Vegas, Nevada; Tucson, Arizona; Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Allentown, Pennsylvania.

“Democrats have taken the Hispanic community for granted for too long,” Jaime Florez told Messenger. “Republicans will continue to make historic investments to reach Hispanic voters, from opening more community centers to launching ‘Deposita Tu Voto.’”

However, there is no confirmation that that program will move forward.

The re-election campaign of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris echoed the Republican strategyalthough that could mean an opportunity to attract Latino votes to the Democrats.

“Donald Trump is officially building the Republican National Committee in his own image and likeness, he is destroying the party’s outreach to voters in minority communities, and this is just the tip of the iceberg,” said spokespersons Maca Casado and Jasmine Harris in a joint message. “Trump is running for president with an agenda that openly fraternizes with white nationalismwhich attacks and demonizes immigrants and seeks to undo policies that are reducing costs and creating opportunities for minority communities.”

They added that when Trump was president he failed minorities, including Latinos, with his policies.

“He failed them with his extremist policies, eliminating jobs, trying to repeal health care and constantly denigrating them,” they added. “There is no doubt that voters in minority communities have always seen Trump’s empty efforts for what they really are: cheap distractions seeking to take their eyes off the model of modern racism in his agenda, which seeks to undermine progress and success. and opportunities for our communities.”

Casado and Harris highlighted President Biden’s agenda for Latinosin addition to advocating among Latinos for their vote.

“President Biden knows he has to earn, not ask, the support of all Americans, and that is exactly what we will do in this campaign,” he said.
