Under the sun of Sonora, organized crime operates as if nothing affected them, they destroy everything, take lives and leave their mark, as happened with the murder of a former police chief whose body was incinerated inside his truck.

It happened on a road in the municipality of Sonoyta, when the former commissioner of Public Security of the town, Miguel Angel Trujillowas intercepted by armed individuals, who chased him when he tried to flee from them, according to first versions compiled by El Heraldo de México.

The race to save his life was brief, the former public servant was shot multiple times, which caused him to lose control of the truck he was driving, which the criminals set on fire with him inside, as confirmed by the police when they arrived at the scene. .

According to the media Infobae, along with the former police commander, the body of José Carmen Moreno, an active auxiliary police officer from the municipality of Sonoyta, was also located.

Regarding the murdered former police chief, it was reported that held the position for one year, resigned from him when there was a change of municipal president. Since mid-2021, it was unknown what he did for a living.

For now, nothing is known about the motive for the crime, nor has any arrest been reported in this case.
