The governor of Florida announced that more elements belonging to the state National Guard will be sent to the southern border with the objective to reinforce it and thus prevent More immigrants continue crossing into US territory using Mexico as a springboard.

This way, 50 members of the National Guard and 76 agents of the Florida Highway Patrol will join the security forces that guard different border crossings where hundreds of undocumented immigrants are arrested daily.

In a statement issued from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement building, DeSantis reminded President Joe Biden that his inadequate management of the border It has allowed several cities in the country to suffer the problems of a disorderly migration of people.

“Astronomical figures have been seen in the last three years, but what has been happening in Texas has been effective, as the numbers are going down. And that’s really because Texas makes a big effort and then all these other states come to help, so we want to be a part of that. We believe this is an American problem.

This is part of a years-long effort to help do what the federal government has refused to do, which is defend this country’s borders.”, he pointed.

The state president urged the rest of the country’s governors to join efforts to seal the border, as he warned about the constant arrival of groups of people from nations considered dangerous for national security.

“Biden’s border crisis has turned every state into a border state, requiring states to step up and defend our territorial sovereignty.

There are now a large number of Chinese crossing the border. It’s incredible that we are allowing people from all over the world who we have no idea who they are to come to this country.“, he stressed.

Like Ron DeSantis, midweek Kristi Noem, governor of South Dakota, announced that she would deploy 60 soldiers to the southern border in support of the so-called “Operation Lone Star,” which is promoted by Greg Abbott, governor of Texas, faithful opponent of migration.
