Last week Beyoncé Knowles he returned to the music scene with the single “Texas Hold ‘Em”, which is distinguished because it marks his foray into the country genre. This has provoked various reactions from the public, and now Actor John Schneider openly criticized this new project of the singer.

In an interview for the cable channel One America News Network, Schneider – who has released many albums in that musical style – was questioned by the host with the following comment: “Leftists in the entertainment industry just won’t leave any area alone, right? They just have to take control of every aspect, don’t they?” And she answered: “They have to leave their mark, like a dog in a dog park. You know, every dog has to mark every tree, right? So that’s what’s happening here.”

Later, John (known for the television series “The Dukes Of Hazzard” and “Smallville”) commented about the crossover that country singers – specifically Shania Twain– do towards pop: “As for Shania and the other friends you talked about, they were into country music and “coming out”, that’s one thing, but people “coming in”…I know a little bit about country music.”

Almost immediately the actor was attacked on his own social networks by the singer’s fans.who noted that famous African Americans, such as Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry, have helped him in his career. So far Schneider has not commented on his statements to that medium.

“Texas Hold ‘Em” is one of the two singles from the album Renaissance Act II by Beyoncé, which will be released on March 29. The song is in the Top 10 in the United Kingdom, and in a few days it will debut on the list Hot 100 of Billboard. Recently one of the artist’s fans complained that radio station 100.1 KYKC refused to program the trackand shared the message he received on social media: “We do not play Beyoncé on KYKC since we are a country music station.” After many messages of disagreement, the station had to program the song: and posted on his account x (before Twitter) the following: “There are a lot of calls coming in asking for “Texas Hold ‘Em” by Beyoncé. It will arrive in minutes.”
