The frustration of the Chivas players and the excess of joy of the Mazatlán elements, Due to the last tie achieved by the Cañoneros, it was about to lead to a tremendous fight in the mixed zone of the El Encanto stadium, when the members of both teams began to argue and push each other between complaints and high-sounding shouts.

According to reports and a short video published on W Radio’s X social network account, it was possible to observe how elements of the two teams begin to argue, especially the Rebaño Sagrado goalkeeper José “Tala” Rangel, who with an error in the 87th minute, opened the way for the Mazatlecos to tie.

In that play, Rangel wanted to clear, but he collided with his teammate José Castillo and the ball landed at the feet of Paraguayan Luis Amarilla, who was neither slow nor lazy to hit the ball into the nets.

Then the story that we all know happened and that put Chivas on the scaffold, when Yael Padilla was sent off in the 95th minute, a foul was called near the area that generated a cross into Guadalajara’s risk zone and there Amarilla managed to connect to nest the agonizing tying goal.

Immediately the referee Adonai Escobedo declared the end of the match and when the players went to their locker rooms, the whole conflict began caused by the celebrations of the locals and the frustration of the visitors.

In the images you can see ‘Tala’ Rangel and Fernando ‘Oso’ González from Chivas, complaining and seeking to confront Mazatlán players, then there is some pushing and finally the matter did not escalate due to the intervention of the members of the coaching staff of both teams.

This event is not the first to occur in the Clausura 2024 tournament, since in the game between Cruz Azul and Tijuana on date four, the sports director of the Machine, Iván Alonso, had a strong altercation with the Xolos coach, Miguel Herrera .

We will have to wait for the whistler Escobedo’s report so that the Disciplinary Commission can have arguments to impose sanctions or, at the request of a party, initiate an investigation to clarify the unsportsmanlike acts at the end of this commitment on date seven.
