One of the main criticisms of Liga MX is the difficulty that their footballers have in going abroadspecifically to European football. Martin Zuniga is also aware of this context and indicated that The Expansion League sells more footballers.

Martín Zúñiga left the Liga Expansión MX for Kosovo football. The 30-year-old Mexican soccer player now belongs to the Klubi Futbollistik Feronikeli 74. This is his second international experience.

In his new foray into the Old Continent, Martín Zúñiga reflected on Aztec football. The Mexican scorer considers that Since the Expansion League it is easier to go abroad.

“I’m excited that people elsewhere are seeing your work, Beyond it being Expansión, the reality is that today in Mexico it is Expansión that you are exporting more people than from Liga MX. That speaks volumes, beyond Mexicans there are also foreigners and It is a league that I think we have mistreated and that today it is sounding for good and that is good for the country,” Zúñiga said for Fox Sports.

In Liga MX there have been several cases of high-level footballers, but they see their aspirations of going to the Old Continent cut short due to the high financial demands of their clubs. Obviously, this is an aspect that further complicates the football development and dreams of young Mexican talents.

“I’m happy, I think this It is something that every child says, mentions and dreams about when they start playing. and today in some way it is becoming a reality,” Zúñiga acknowledged.

From Mexico to Kosovo

Even though it is not one of the top level tournaments in Europe, Without a doubt, it is a very good opportunity for a 30-year-old forward. Martín Zúñiga arrives free to the Albi Mall Superliga to defend the colors of Klubi Futbollistik Feronikeli 74. In fact, Zúñiga already had the opportunity to debut in the tournament with his first 31 minutes with the team.

Klubi Futbollistik Feronikeli 74 is a team that was founded in 1974. This club is not one of those that has a better present in the internal tournament. The Kosovo League is made up of 10 clubs and Klubi Futbollistik Feronikeli 74 is in seventh position in the tournament with 22 units. The team has 6 wins, 4 draws and 10 losses so far this season.

“I had not had options in Europe and now in this market, well it was a little strange, at the end of December in Central America they looked for me and for some reason it did not advance. It didn’t happen and things happen near the close of the transfer market for Europe, all kinds of negotiations accelerate. An agreement is reached for both parties and a rapprochement is achieved and today I say goodbye to a team and I am already thinking about my new challenge”, he concluded.

Martín Zúñiga is a forward with a lot of experience in Aztec football. The 30-year-old attacker played in the youth ranks of the Águilas del América and even won trophies in the first team. In addition, Zúñiga defended the shirt of other teams such as Chiapas FC, Dorados de Sinaloa, Cafetaleros, Oaxaca, Cruz Azul, Celaya, Mineros de Zacatecas, Morelia, Correcaminos, Xinabajul and Tepatitlán.
