What started as a fairy tale ended up becoming a nightmare for the Mexican singer. Robert Xavier, who rose to fame in 2019 after winning the ‘La Voz Kids’ contest and taking home a prize from $500 thousand pesos mexicans.

It was unexpectedly that the horror story that the young man experienced after being crowned the winner of the singing competition in its children’s version came to light. And the tiktoker Eslowosle went to the Technical Secondary School Number 26 in Aguascalientes to interview the students without knowing that he would meet Roberto Xavier.

“If you don’t know me, I am Roberto Xavier, the winner of ‘La Voz Kids’ in 2019. My voice has already changed, but I already have new songs and I have already recorded two unreleased songs,” he said and then revealed the difficult family situation that lived.

According to the winner of ‘La Voz Kids’, the money he received never reached his hands, since his father decided to abandon his family and take said sum of money with him: “Unfortunately, 6 months after I won La Voz Kids, my father abandoned us and took the prize.”

Although Roberto Xavier decided not to delve deeper into the topic, Internet users were quick to share their discontent with the situation. For this reason, they started a “search” on social networks to find the whereabouts of Roberto Marín and thus reproach him for what he did to his son.

“His father abandoned him and his wife. when she had cancer, It’s not worth it”, “I loved that child in the program, I hope they give him another chance”, “I was his fan and now even more so, he continues to sing beautifully” and “How little, I hope the dad pays”, are some of the comments from support for the singer that is read on the internet.
