Jennifer Aniston celebrated her birthday with a touching message of gratitude

Jennifer Aniston turns 55 years old. To celebrate her day, the actress shared a touching post on her social media to thank her for all the good things that her life has given her.

Through his Instagram account, Aniston shared a video that compiled photos and video fragments of special moments in her lifewhich he accompanied with the poem The Layers, by Stanley Kunitz.

Before the poem, the actress wrote only one sentence to summarize how she felt: “Grateful.”

Quickly, Jennifer Aniston’s publication was filled with comments from fans and fellow actors who wished her the best on her day. “I couldn’t love you more. “Happy, happy, beautiful human being!” Gwyneth Paltrow wrote to him. “Beautiful, happy birthday,” Kate Hudson wished her.

The last few years have been difficult for the actress. In November 2022, her father, John Aniston, died at the age of 89, and last year her former Friends co-star and great friend Matthew Perry died from the effects of ketamine.

In a conversation with Entertainment Tonight, A reporter from the show asked Aniston how she would like Friends fans to remember the actor.. The actress’ response was short but very moving:

“Celebrating,” Jennifer Aniston responded with a huge smile on her face.. The actress did not want to delve further into the topic of Perry’s departure, as it is a painful topic for her.

In December, Jennifer Aniston, who shared a cast with the actor in Friends, prepares a heartfelt tribute to say goodbye to someone who was also her great friend.

The Friends actors were not only co-workers, but also great friends. Therefore, the unexpected death of the actor who played Chandler in the sitcom shocked Jennifer Aniston, David Schiwmmer, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and Courteney Cox-Arquette, who after the sad news dedicated emotional messages to Perry.

According to Vanitatis magazine, Only the Friends actors will participate in the tribute and it will be held at the actress’s home in Bel-Air.

“It was always their plan to meet with just the five of them, so they could feel comfortable saying what was on their mind,” a source close to the actress told Vanitatis. “Her intention is to remember some of her favorite moments with Matt, share stories, laugh and cry. The funeral was a very sad occasion, but it was mainly for Perry’s family and they held back out of respect,” she added.

After the actor’s death, Aniston shared a series of photos with Perry on her Instagram account accompanied with an emotional message. “This has hurt me deeply… Having to say goodbye to our Matty has been a crazy wave of emotions that I have never experienced before,” she begins.

Aniston remembered Matthew Perry as a person who loved laughter and making people laugh. “Matty knew he loved making people laugh. As he himself said, if he didn’t hear the ‘laughter’ he thought he was going to die. His life literally depended on it. And boy did he manage to do just that. “He made us all laugh,” said the actress, who added that in recent days she has not been able to stop reading the text messages they exchanged. “I will keep them forever,” she added.

The actor was buried on November 3 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles. It was a low-key funeral attended by his former Friends co-stars.
