He Mallorca will face Real Sociedad this Tuesday in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finalsone of the most important duels of the season for the Mexican coach’s team Javier Aguirrewho is cautious against a rival who has been able to complicate them in recent times.

“Vasco” Aguirre spoke at the press conference prior to the match that will take place at the Son Moix stadium, where the locals will try to shake off the painful defeat suffered on Friday against Athletic Club (4-0) that continues to complicate them in the league.

“There is a great desire to turn the page. This is another competition and right now we have a fifty percent chance in this semifinals. It’s another circumstance.”acknowledged the technical director of Mallorca, which is about to play its fifth semi-final in the Copa del Rey.

“There is a lot of excitement. There are players who have never been in a semi-final and others who have played in the finals. They know that it is the last Cup game at home and we have to give a good image. You have to understand that it is a 180-minute game that nothing ends this Tuesday.”added the Mexican.

However, the outlook does not look promising at all for the Majorca having to face a Real Sociedad that they have not defeated since 2012 and that in the last 10 games have eight wins and a draw in their favor.

“It will be a game that does not end here. “I have had the opportunity to play in two semi-finals and experience tells me that it does not end here and that there is no need to get nervous.”assured the strategist who revealed the strategy they must follow to try to get a good result.

“We don’t have to lose order, we have to be focused on the dead ball and its blocks. “He’s not going to let us make transitions because they’ll permanently demote you.”said “Vasco” Aguirre, who also highlighted what he considers to be one of the great qualities of Real Sociedad.

“It is a team that I love because within the regulations they do it very well. “They go down into the mud and compete with a small team, which they are not because they compete in the Champions League.”considered the Mexican coach who confirmed that Abdón Prats will start.

For his part, he also revealed that Raíllo and Pablo Maffeo are absent while he maintained the hope of being able to count on the Serbian midfielder Nemanja Radonjic, who is still facing some bureaucratic problems. “For now he is not available, but there is the hope that this Tuesday, at game time, he will be”.
