Ozzy Osbourne reacts to rumors about his death: “I'm going to do some concerts before I leave”

Ozzy Osbourne reacts to rumors that he is dead. Recently, the Black Sabbath leader said during a conversation on his podcast that he came across an in memoriam video on YouTube, in which – to his surprise – his name was included.

In the sixteenth episode of The Osbournes Podcast, Ozzy He told how surprised he was to see that he appeared in the video of dead celebrities, reviewed The Hollywood Reporter. “I’m not dead. “I’m not going anywhere,” she said.

The rocker’s son, Jack Osbourne, also reacted to the fake news about his father’s death. “You should hear it on the podcast. Alright. Those people are liars. Stop writing fake news,” he said.

In addition, Ozzy assured that he was so well that he will even return to the stage soon. “I’m not going anywhere damn and I’m going to do a few more gigs before I’m done anyway,” she added.

Health problems

In recent years, Ozzy Osbourne has had some health problems which, probably, have made us think that the 74-year-old musician has little time left to live.

Although he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, he suffered a fall that caused damage to the metal posts in his spine and was infected with covid-19, The musician has never given up his intention to return to the stage.

In February, the rocker had to cancel some dates of his European tour, due to health problems. “My only purpose during this time has been to get back on stage. My singing voice is fine. However, after three operations, stem cell treatments, endless physical therapy and, most recently, the innovative Cybernetic (HAL) treatment, my body is still physically weak,” she reported at the time in a statement.

Although returning to the stage is a priority for Ozzy, he doesn’t want to do it until he feels like he can do it with all his essence.

“I’m not going to get up there and do a half-assed Ozzy for sympathy. What sense does that have? I’m not going up there in a damn wheelchair. I’ve seen Phil Collins perform recently, and he has pretty much the same problems as me. He goes up there in a wheelchair. But I couldn’t do that,” he said in an interview with Rolling Stone UK.

The rocker wants to return to the stage to say goodbye to his fans, who he feels he should thank for their support and loyalty over the past few years. “If I can do a few gigs… They’ve been loyal to me for years, damn it. They write to me, they know everything about my dogs. They are really my extended family, and they give us the lifestyle we have. For some reason, that’s my goal to work towards. Do those shows. Whether it’s at Ozzfest or somewhere, or even a fucking concert at the Roundhouse,” he added.

Although he considers that he is not yet in good condition to return to the stage, The musician remains optimistic about his recovery and subsequent return to the shows; However, his wife Sharon does not see it the same way.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Sharon expressed that seeing her husband in such a delicate health situation has broken her heart. “He was so vibrant, with such a desire to live. But you learn to adapt. I will always be there for my husband. I adore him. I owe him so much. “He gave me the best thing in my life, my children,” she said.
