Luis Suárez finished his internship for Brazilian football with the Guild and now his new destination is unknown, but all signs indicate that Inter Miami would be his new team.
Suárez broke his silence about joining Lionel Messi in MLS during an interview with Uruguay’s Teledoce where he expressed that he will first go to rest and then make a decision.
“You can talk about many things, many teams were named and you have to live with that. I will talk to my lawyer to see what the possibilities are. I didn’t want to know anything until the Brasileirao was over. There we will analyze what we have,” Suárez commented.
The Uruguayan explained that going to Inter Miami is a possibility, but he has not yet made the decision.
“It may be a possibility. I have the best player in the world, a great friend, in whom we always talk about things about the futurebut I have to enjoy it and then make a decision,” he revealed.
Suárez ended his experience with Gremio after winning the affection of the fans and being the leading scorer during the last year.
The Uruguayan striker scored 29 goals and gave 17 assists in all the tournaments played this year with Grêmio, a record that once again led him to be called up for his country’s national team.
“It is perfect to end the year with Grêmio because of everything that has happened. Closing a year at the Maracaná, the temple of world football, without having scored yet at the Maracaná, I think it was great,” Suárez celebrated at the end of the match in statements to TV Globo.
In his last game he scored a double against Fluminense at the Maracaná Stadium.
Inter Miami will tour Hong Kong

Inter Miami, which made history last summer by signing Messi and reinforcing its squad with the Spaniards Sergio Busquets and Jordi Albawants revenge next season after being left out of the playoff positions this year.
Of course, the arrival of Messi has helped Inter Miami win the first title in its history, the Leagues Cup.
“We are delighted to visit Hong Kong and Asia for the first time. From the beginning we set out to be a global club at Inter Miami. This is a wonderful opportunity to do just that; We hope to excite and inspire new Inter Miami fans in Hong Kong and across Asia who share our passion for football,” said club owner Jorge Mas.
