Representatives of the Armies of Belarus and Cuba agreed on a military cooperation plan during the visit of a delegation from Minsk to the island, as reported this Wednesday (11/29/2023) by the Government of Alexander Lukashenko.
“Negotiations are taking place in Havana between representatives of the Armed Forces of Belarus and Cuba. The parties agreed on a military cooperation project and a plan of bilateral events for 2024,” the Belarusian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
The note adds that The Belarusian delegation was received in Cuba by the Chief of the Army Staff, Major General Roberto Legrá Sotolongo.
According to Belarusian media, Cuba would be interested in weapons supplies, including Polonez missile launchers, with a range of up to 300 kilometers.
