Lebron Jamesstar of Los Angeles Lakerswill have a museum in his city, Akron (Ohio, USA), dedicated to his origins and his legendary career in the NBA.
LeBron, four-time NBA champion, will have its museum in the ‘House Three Thirty’, a facility that opened thanks to his foundation, the “LeBron James Family Foundation”, to support his community, according to US media reports and the NBA.
Those who visit the museum will be able to see collection pieces such as the white suit that LeBron wore in the 2023 draftwhen he was selected with the number one pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
It will be a multimedia experience; the museum will include a recreation of the apartment where he and his mother Gloria livedthere will also be objects from his childhood.
In addition, a board and a basket from the ‘St. Vincent–St. Mary High School’, where a young LeBron was dazzled by his talent, as well as a reproduction of the apartment in which King James grew up with his mother.
The museum will open to the public next November 25.
LeBron, 38, won two NBA titles with the Miami Heat, one with the Cleveland Cavaliers and one with the Los Angeles Lakers and became the league’s all-time leading scorer last year.
This season is LeBron’s 21st in the NBA.
“King” James plans to participate in the Paris Olympic Games in 2024 with Team USA, as the player announced last October at a press conference at NBA media day.
