John Fetterman calls out California governor for running presidential campaign in the shadows

John Fetterman, a Democratic legislator from Pennsylvania, attacked Gavin Newsom, governor of California, for running a campaign aimed at strengthen your image to challenge Joe Biden’s presidential candidacy ahead of next year’s elections without having until now had the courage to accept it.

According to information released by the television network NBCNews, Fetterman gave a speech in Iowa where he mentioned the move planned by the Californian president.

“There are two more Democrats running for Pennsylvania, excuse me, running for president right now. One is a congressman from Minnesota, the other is the governor of California, but only one has the courage to announce it“he exclaimed.

The other politician the House member who likes to attend events in a sweatshirt instead of a coat and tie was referring to is Rep. Dean Phillips.

Even though Newsom has on more than one occasion ruled out fighting to be president of the country even if Biden dropped out of the race, his activities in recent months call his words into question.

Recently, the Californian president traveled to China on behalf of President Biden to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing. Both exchanged points of view about the transformation experienced in the automotive sector with the launch of electric vehicles focused on stopping the use of combustion engines in order to reduce the carbon footprint.

Besides, Gavin Newsom accepted an unusual offer to debate with Ron DeSantis and talk about issues that concern California and Florida, but above all the United States, something that does not agree with at least the Democrat.

To this it must be added that The Californian president has also already been accused by businessman and Republican candidate Vivek Ramaswamy of allegedly mounting a secret campaign with the White House.

“The man is running for president, he does it and he does it in disguise, with a record in a state that is becoming more disastrous every day,” he said in a speech broadcast in Iowa a few days ago.

However, Gavin Newsom continues to deny that such an option could materialize.

“The answer is no,” constantly responds the state president who claims to be focused on moving California forward.
