Hispanic man is arrested after barricading himself with a child in a Riverside County home

A Hispanic man was arrested this Monday after barricade themselves with a child in a residence in the city of Hemetin Riverside County.

Around 7:30 a.m., Angel Carrillo refused to come out when Hemet Police officers responded to the 2800 block of Marilee Court to respond to the police. reports of a violation of a restraining orderaccording to a press release from the Hemet Police Department.

When the police arrived at the home, they contacted the victim who filed the reports, who was outside the house along with two children, while Ángel Carrillo and a third minor remained inside the residence.

Carrillo, 46, of Los Angeles, He barricaded himself inside the home where the minor was also.

Moments later, officers were able to rescue the child from the residencebut the Hispanic man refused to surrender.

Due to the situation, he arrived at the site a Southwest Cities SWAT squadwho took charge of the negotiations with the Hispanic.

The Southwest Cities SWAT team is made up of officers from the police departments of the cities of Hemet, Murrieta and Menifee.

After seven hours, Ángel Carrillo surrendered to the authorities.

Around 3:00 pm, before The Hispanic man left the residence to surrender, the sound of grenades was heard. Carrillo was transported in an ambulance, without the nature of his injuries being known.

The Hispanic man was left as detained and accused of various crimesin addition to having several outstanding arrest warrants in his records

Ángel Carrillo remains in custody of the authorities with a bond of $233,000 dollars.
