Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, surprised this Monday by revealing that as part of the new features that ChatGPT will incorporateusers will have the ability to train their own custom ChatGPT-4 Turbo models.

However, the real surprise lies in the fact that users who have a premium subscription to ChatGPT Enterprise will be able to create these custom AI models and publish them in a kind of OpenAI marketplace that will allow the community to use said model. This translates to The creator of the model can receive an income based on the number of users who are using their creation.

Although the CEO of OpenAI mentioned that this aspect will be available in approximately a month, he did not offer further details regarding the amount that users could receive through this monetization mechanism.

However, this option poses an extremely interesting scenario for developers, since they could dedicate themselves to creating AI models and receive something in return, beyond the recognition of the community.

Integration with DALL·E 3

Another novelty of the new version of ChatGPT is that From now on, in the paid version, all the company’s services will be integrated under the same system. This means that users will be able to make a request directly through ChatGPT and receive a response from DALL·E 3.

Altman explained that this is possible because the system will be able to detect the user’s intention when entering a prompt so that they do not have to manually choose which system should respond to the request.

During the developer presentation Altman showed that this integration is especially practical when using ChatGPT to create applications since in a matter of seconds you can have a basic structure of the app to be able to see its development in real time on a visual level.

It should be noted that Altman mentioned that another improvement is that ChatGPT-4 Turbo will be able to process prompts with a length of more than 120,000 characters, which implies that the amount of detail it will be able to cover will be much greater. In practice, this translates into responses with a higher level of accuracy regarding user requests.
